Souffleur Sensor — Privacy Policy
Effective: June 11, 2026. Souffleur Sensor is an internal sales-coaching
tool for Epiphan Video employees. Sign-in is restricted to @epiphan.com accounts.
What the extension does
Souffleur Sensor provides live, in-call AI sales coaching. During a coaching session
that the user explicitly starts, it captures call audio, transcribes it in real time, and
shows coaching tips. There is no background recording — capture runs only while a session
is active and stops when the user ends it or the call ends.
Data we process
- Call audio — your microphone (your voice) and the audio of the active call tab
(the other party), captured only during an active coaching session.
- Transcripts — real-time text transcription of that audio.
- CRM page context — when you are on a supported dialer page (HubSpot, Nooks),
the contact/company identifiers and display names shown on the page, plus call start/end
events, used to label the session.
- Account identifier — your work email address, obtained when you sign in with your
Epiphan Google account.
How it is used and shared
- Call audio is streamed to OpenAI (using short-lived tokens) solely to produce a
real-time transcription. OpenAI acts as a processing subprocessor.
- Transcripts and derived coaching data (e.g. qualification/coaching notes) are sent to the
Souffleur server operated by Epiphan and may be stored as call records for the sales team's
own review and coaching.
- An LLM coaching provider is used to generate the coaching tips from the transcript text.
- Data is used only to provide live coaching and post-call summaries. It is
not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with third parties other than the
service providers needed to operate the product (above).
Storage, retention, and access
Call records are stored in Epiphan's internal systems and retained according to Epiphan's
internal data-retention practices. Access is limited to authorized Epiphan personnel.
Your choices
Capture only happens when you start a coaching session. You can stop it at any time, decline
microphone access, or uninstall the extension. As this is an internal employee tool, data
requests are handled through Epiphan's internal processes.
